Mike’s Professional Tree Service was first incorporated in 1992. In what started out as a small team cutting trees and firewood, the business has transformed into one of the largest tree services in the area, with over 30 employees on the team and millions of dollars in equipment, to help ensure you have the most positive and safe experience possible. As the business has grown each year, Mike has involved his own family into the business, including his son and his wife Tracey. This has allowed Mike’s Professional Tree Service to become a true family run operation. 

Even through the growth of the business, Mike and his team have never lost sight of their simple mission……to provide excellent value and amazing service through a local family run business. They only specialize in the Rhode Island market, so you know that when you hire Mike’s Professional Tree Service, you will get a business that is dedicated to the local community. As Mike always says, “We take care of the people that take care of us”…..and his team lives by this saying and message.

In addition to the tree services offered, Mike also owns Mulch-N-More. Mulch-N-More specializes in manufacturing a variety of mulches and yard products. It is truly a one-stop shopping experience for your yard. Mike has ensured that the business keeps the same family run quality and service, just as Rhode Islanders have come to expect over the years. 

Being the owner of these great businesses, Mike and his team are always here to help and answer any questions that you might have. Mike still comes out to provide you an in person quote for your tree service needs, and he personally performs all estimating. The company is fully licensed and insured (LIC #102).

Mike's crew, headed by Steven, showed up 12-30-19 as promised despite the terrible weather. We had to close our business for the day for safety sake. It would been inconvenient to reschedule to another day due to the weather but we would have certainly understood. We have used Mike's twice before at this business and once at our home in CT. Everything cut, trimmed and cleaned up as promised. I didn't price shop but I thought that the cost was very reasonable considering it was a full day's work, great value.

My 1st experience with a tree removal was nothing less then exceptional. I contacted Mike's Professional Tree Service over the weekend, Mike personally came out to my home the following morning, giving me a very fair estimate, and his crew arrived the very next day to remove the tree. His crew were professional, did A+ work, and cleaned up much better than I had even anticipated. Outstanding Emergency Service and Customer Care

Mike’s Tree Service came out to my property today after one of my trees fell due to the rain/wind storm this weekend. We called him today and he came right away to give us an estimate and some advice on some other trees that we were concerned about. They did an amazing job and completed it in the same day.
